Teaching Mobility (STA)

Teaching Mobility (STA) enables academic staff from partner universities to carry out teaching activities at Hakkari University within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme. This mobility aims to promote academic cooperation, exchange of expertise and the internationalisation of teaching practices.

Who Can Participate

Teaching Mobility (STA) is open to:

  • academic staff from partner universities,

  • invited to teach at Hakkari University under an existing inter-institutional agreement.

Participation is subject to the approval of the host department and the Erasmus+ Office of Hakkari University.

Teaching Activities

During the teaching mobility period, incoming academic staff may:

  • deliver lectures or seminars,

  • participate in joint academic activities,

  • share teaching methodologies and academic expertise, and

  • contribute to curriculum development and academic cooperation.

Teaching activities are organised in coordination with the host department.

Duration and Teaching Hours

The duration of Teaching Mobility is determined in accordance with Erasmus+ rules. Incoming academic staff are expected to fulfil the minimum teaching hours requirement as defined by the Erasmus+ Programme during their mobility period.

Application and Invitation Letter

Incoming academic staff interested in Teaching Mobility are required to contact the relevant departmental Erasmus coordinators at Hakkari University in order to discuss the teaching programme and schedule.

When contacting departmental coordinators, incoming staff are kindly requested to inform the Erasmus+ Office by including erasmus@hakkari.edu.tr in their correspondence. After agreement with the host department, an invitation letter is issued upon approval by the Erasmus+ Office of Hakkari University.

Mobility Agreement

Before the mobility period, a Mobility Agreement for Teaching must be prepared and approved by:

  • the incoming staff member,

  • the home institution, and

  • Hakkari University.

The Mobility Agreement outlines the planned teaching activities and objectives of the mobility.

Important Information

Teaching activities are carried out in line with the academic calendar of Hakkari University. Incoming academic staff are advised to coordinate teaching dates and schedules with the host department and the Erasmus+ Office in advance.
