PROJECT OBJECTIVES


*To encourage the decision-making/planning/reflection skills of vocational education students.
*To encourage the active role of vocational students in building their lives and to be responsible for developing their skills and competencies in line with the decisions they make for the future.
*Raising awareness of the joint agency approach among schools, teachers, professionals, families and society in Europe
*Promoting shared agency and accountability processes within the school community.


TARGET GROUP OF THE PROJECT: Teachers, student career counselors, coaches and guides, psychological counselors working with vocational education students both in non-formal forms and in schools.



BENEFICIARIES: Vocational High School students, families of Vocational High School students, schools and education and training centers working with Vocational High School students.


PLANNED OUTPUTS:

O2: Future Elections Support Training Module
O3: Support for Future Elections Online Training Module
O4: Impact Assessment of Support for Future Elections


METHODOLOGY TO BE USED IN THE PROJECT: We used the project management cycle methodology, social constructivism and joint agency approach to design and implement the project. We will use action research and qualitative and quantitative research methods, coaching and consultancy for the events. We will design a new methodology called “Joint Agency Coaching & Consultancy” for the training of educational methodologies and for use in the learning environment in vocational training schools.


EXPECTED RESULTS AND EFFECT:



Short term:



*Teachers/professionals will be more aware of their students (needs, expectations, obstacles, fears, vision of the future)
*Teachers/professionals will be more competent in coaching and guiding students.
*Students will be more aware of the impact of their choices.
*Families will be more aware of the importance of supporting their children.
*Families will be more aware of their students (needs, expectations, obstacles, fears, future vision)


Interim Period:



*Students will decide their future careers more effectively.
*Teachers/professionals will improve their coaching skills.
*Families will support their children more.
*Students will have more information about future school and job opportunities.


Long-term:



*Reducing early school leaving
* Preventing employee incompatibility
*To promote coaching and guidance among vocational schools


POTENTIAL LONG-TERM BENEFITS: Joint agency coaching & mentoring could become good practice among EU Vocational Schools and could be implemented in other countries.
