Turkey/Ankara - Labor and Social Security Training and Research Center (ÇASGEM), a subsidiary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security
Labor and Social Security Training and Research Center (ÇASGEM), a leading institution in the development of national and international policies for the solution of problems in the field of work and employment in the light of academic and technological developments, carries out the training, research and consultancy activities of CASGEM. To support safer workplaces and the country's economy and development for sustainable labor peace and decent work for everyone in Turkey. The main duties and services of the center are:


a) To prepare training programs, organize seminars and conferences, conduct research on work and employment, social security, occupational health and safety, labor relations, employment, productivity, labor market studies, ergonomics, environment, first aid, labor statistics. It is intended for the personnel of the Ministry and affiliated and related organizations (İŞKUR, SGK, etc.) and all employees, employers and managers in public or private institutions. These duties are defined in the Center Establishment Law No. 7460 as follows;

b) To prepare training programs for "physicians", "nurses and cleaning staff", "engineers and technicians" on occupational health and safety in order to reduce health and safety risks, to provide training, to certify and to provide protective services in workplaces;

c) Organizing national and international conferences/seminars and trainings;

d) Conducting research and examination, collecting data and documents regarding the relevant field;

e) To provide advice to employers and employees on work efficiency and related issues;

f) To publish national and international documents and prepare statistics regarding relevant fields.
