Acceptance Letter and Visa Procedures
Candidates who have been admitted to Hakkari University under the international student admission scheme shall receive an Acceptance Letter in accordance with the admission calendar announced by the University.
The Acceptance Letter will be sent to the e-mail address provided by the candidate during the application process. Therefore, applicants are responsible for providing a valid and up-to-date e-mail address.
Acceptance Letter
The Acceptance Letter is an official document confirming that the candidate has been placed in the relevant academic program at Hakkari University.
Candidates may use the Acceptance Letter for visa applications and other official procedures. However, the issuance of an Acceptance Letter does not mean that the candidate's final registration has been completed.
Final registration is completed only after the required documents have been submitted, the tuition fee has been paid, and all registration requirements have been fulfilled within the announced registration period.
Student Visa
Candidates residing outside Türkiye are generally required to obtain a Student Visa before entering Türkiye for educational purposes.
Upon receiving their Acceptance Letter, candidates may apply to the relevant diplomatic missions of the Republic of Türkiye in their country of residence to initiate the Student Visa application process.
Visa application procedures, required documents, and application timelines are determined by the relevant diplomatic missions of the Republic of Türkiye. Therefore, candidates are advised to contact the Turkish Embassy or Consulate in their country for detailed information regarding visa requirements.
Candidates Exempt from Student Visa Requirements
International students who have completed their secondary education in Türkiye and children of foreign nationals holding a valid work permit or residence permit in Türkiye may be exempt from the requirement to obtain a Student Visa for higher education enrollment procedures.
Visa exemptions shall be evaluated in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Türkiye.
